Installing an SSL certificate on your AeroWave hosting account is straightforward, especially since we provide free SSL certificates via Let’s Encrypt that are automatically installed and renewed. However, if you need to install a custom or premium SSL certificate, follow the steps below.

Option 1. Using AeroWave’s Automatic Let’s Encrypt SSL #

1. Log in to your AeroWave Hosting control panel.
2. Scroll down to the Security section and click SSL/TLS
3. Locate the domain you want to secure and select the option to Enable SSL.
4. The system will automatically generate and install the SSL certificate for you.
5. Allow a few minutes for the process to complete. Your site will then be accessible securely via HTTPS.

Option 2. Installing A Custom SSL Certificate #

If you have purchased an SSL certificate from a third party or AeroWave premium SSL, here’s how to install it manually:

1. Log in to your AeroWave Hosting control panel.
2. Scroll down to the Security section and click SSL/TLS
3. Scroll down to Install External Certificate
4. Upload your certificate files:
   • The Certificate (.crt) file
   • The Private Key (.key) file
   • The CA Bundle or Intermediate Certificate file (if provided)
5. Follow any prompts to complete the installation.
6. Once installed, your website will serve content securely over HTTPS.
