At AeroWave, we understand how important your data is. That’s why all of our hosting plans include daily automatic backups. Backups shouldn’t be an optional extra, and we take care of your websites, emails, databases and files so you can have peace of mind knowing your data is protected.
How Backups Are Stored #
Your backups are kept on a separate server to ensure they remain safe and secure. Even if something happens to your main hosting server, your backups are protected.
What’s Included In Our Backups #
Each backup covers:
- Website Files & Databases
- Email Accounts
Backup Retention #
Backups are stored for 30 days, with a new snapshot taken every 24 hours. This gives you up to 30 versions of your data at any one time.
Even if a website, email account, or hosting package is deleted, the associated backups will still be available for the remainder of the 30-day period.
Restoring Your Data #
You can restore backups directly from your AeroWave dashboard at any time. Simply select the date or backup version you want, and we’ll handle the restore for you.
If you ever feel unsure or would prefer assistance, our support team is always happy to help. Simply let us know which backup you’d like to restore, and we’ll take care of the rest for you.
A Quick Note About Backups #
Whilst we take daily automatic backups, we can’t guarantee that every single change you make between backups will be captured. For peace of mind, we recommend taking your own backups via your dashboard before, during, and after making important changes to your websites, databases or files. This ensures nothing important is lost.
