Why We Handle Sensitive Data Carefully #
Sometimes we may need private information from you to help with your hosting or email services. This could include passwords, account logins, or other personal details.
At AeroWave, we take the privacy of this information seriously because we believe privacy is a fundamental right. All sensitive information shared with us is protected by end-end encryption so only you and our support team can access it. If you ever want us to remove personal information from a ticket, just ask and we will take care of it.
Important: If you add sub-users or already have them, with the permission View & Open Support Tickets, they will also be able to see any sensitive information submitted through a ticket. Please only give this permission to people you trust to keep your account secure.
How To Safely Provide Sensitive Data #
When creating a support ticket, you’ll notice a dedicated Sensitive Data tab. This is where you can safely enter any private information we might need to help you, such as login credentials or temporary passwords. Using this section ensures your information stays secure and encrypted whilst our support team reviews your ticket.
If you already have a ticket open, you can add any additional private information using the Sensitive Data tab. This allows you to securely provide things like account credentials or temporary passwords without exposing them elsewhere. Once you’ve submitted the sensitive information, be sure to reply to the ticket so our support team knows the new details are ready to review and can continue assisting you.
